Second-largest NAWBO chapter selects netlogx’ operations director for board membership in 2019
INDIANAPOLIS, July 11, 2019— netlogx, a 21-year-old, Indianapolis-based consulting services firm, announced today that its operations director, Stephanie Sponsel, has been named treasurer for the Indianapolis chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO-Indianapolis). As treasurer, Sponsel will help manage the organization’s financial budget, member dues, invoicing, and financial reports and audits. She was inducted to the board and began her role on June 27, 2019.
Founded in 1997, NAWBO-Indianapolis has been working for more than 20 years to advance female entrepreneurs throughout Indiana. The chapter serves as a comprehensive resource to propel women business owners to greater economic, social and political spheres of power. NAWBO-Indianapolis is the third largest chapter with nearly 200 members and over 50 corporate partners.
“I’m honored to be named as treasurer and look forward to serving on the NAWBO-Indianapolis board,” said Sponsel. “I am excited to bring my passion to an organization that has steadily advanced business opportunities for women in the state of Indiana. Only 10 years before netlogx was founded in 1998, it was difficult for women to receive financing without a male cosigner, and NAWBO’s role in changing that made it possible for the woman-led company I know and love to exist today.”
As operations director for netlogx, Sponsel’s nomination is notable because of the support and investment netlogx has given to NAWBO-Indianapolis over the years. It’s partner and CEO, Audrey Taylor, served as membership chair and has been a long-standing member of NAWBO-Indianapolis. netlogx encourages its employees — especially its leadership — to give back to the community and help drive opportunities for women in our state through strategic partnerships and advocacy.
“We’re excited to welcome Stephanie as the new treasurer of the NAWBO-Indianapolis Board,” said Lee Ann Richardson,
Executive Director. “Her talents will help our chapter continue a legacy of financial responsibility so we can focus on providing advocacy, networking, and support to women business owners across the state of Indiana.”
