This year’s recipients of the esteemed 2012 IBJ Women of Influence Award were honored at a breakfast on Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. IBJ champions the success of our city’s most successful and influential women business owners and leaders in both the public and private sector by recognizing their extraordinary achievements, exceptional experience and stellar reputation within their company, their industry and the community. Each one of these prominent honorees have experienced significant challenges, yet they continue to triumph over the obstacles they face—each with an amazing story to tell.
“We recognize and celebrate the strong impact that these women have on other women, their industry and toward the community,” says Audrey Taylor, netlogx founder. “We are proud to see women business owners excelling in our community, as well as being a role model and helping to mentor other women along the way.” netlogx, a woman-owned business founded in 1988 by Taylor, understands the importance of leadership, excellence and integrity. These amazing leaders come from all different kinds of backgrounds and experiences, but their individual stories of facing enormous obstacles and turning them around to create meaningful opportunities is a challenge and inspiration for all of us to excel in our chosen field and in our communities. Performing many different roles in the business world can be demanding, but these women provide a great example of how to lead with depth, perseverance and professional excellence.
Please join us in congratulating these deserving women for receiving this prestigious award. You can read further about their proven track record of success as IBJ profiled their remarkable stories in a special supplement published on Nov. 5, 2012 or click here.
