Day in the life of a Principal Consultant (II)

Starting a new division of netlogx, my days are spent researching and making connections.  At the inception of “munilogx,” I created a call list of key contacts that would assist in crafting the vision for the company.  Through these meetings and conference calls, I have added to that list, thus furthering my networking efforts.

With each contact, there are new directions and suggestions on where go, so my subject matter research expands.   Additionally, new opportunities for project work have surfaced and expanded the vision for the company.  We are currently pursuing the issues & challenges of the 911 Call Center consolidation efforts of each city/county.

Collectively, cities & counties have many issues that can be sorted out at the State level, so this inspires me to begin cultivating new relationships in this area.

The vision of the company continues to unfold and my daily job is to follow existing and new paths set in front of me.  While our over-arching goal is to create “best practices” at the municipal level of management, we are finding specific project opportunities that can assist in our goal of becoming the resource municipalities can turn to for process/risk management
