netlogx has a recurring mantra that has always stuck out to me.  Team members are referred to as the ‘netlogx family.’  While many companies promote this type of working community, I had yet to witness a company that actually fulfills this promise until I came to work at netlogx.

Recently, another event confirmed to me that I am truly a part of the netlogx family.  My husband and I are having our first child in November 2013.  Throughout my pregnancy I have felt overwhelming support from team members as this monumental change takes place.  Team members inquire about my health, help me carry heavy stuff, and encourage me when I’m not feeling well.  But, like netlogx often does, team members decided to take this support one step further.  A couple of week ago the ladies of netlogx threw me a baby shower.

Conversing with team members, absorbing their helpful advice, and celebrating the birth of my son was an incredible occasion.  It is not often, with the quantity and quality of work we do, that team members get a chance to just hang out with each other.  However, the baby shower provided just such an opportunity.  We ate delicious food prepared by the amazing Stephanie Sponsel.  There were even gluten-free cupcakes!  I then got to open a ton of presents.  This little boy is going to be terribly spoiled.  The ladies also went around the room and told me one thing they had learned when they became a mother.  These stories were hilarious, insightful, and truly helped qualm my fears about becoming a mother.

This example is just one of many that confirm to me that I chose correctly when I accepted netlogx’ offer of employment.  Thank you to everyone who participated in my shower and I look forward to working with you all for years to come.
