Last week, netlogx sponsored a Veteran’s Day breakfast along with Operation: Job Ready Veterans honoring the men and women whom have given so freely to our nation.

The breakfast was held at the beautiful Indiana War Memorial, which was originally built in 1927 to honor the veterans of World War I.  The memorial was built with materials from six different countries and by men of each of those countries, with whom fought alongside the United States in past wars. For additional information about the Indiana War Memorial or hours of operation, please visit the following web site:

This was a networking event in which Tony Cross, Chief Executive Officer of Operation: Job Ready Veterans (OJRV) spoke about how the organization assists veterans in their transition to civilian life when they return home from active duty.  Often veterans put their lives on hold in order to serve and protect this great country.  Unfortunately, upon the return home it is difficult to jump right back into the workforce.   Operation: Job Ready Veterans offers a five day class to veterans to help identify their unique skills and value which they can bring to the community and prospective companies.  There is also assistance in distinguishing career goals, providing pre-employment training and placement coaching, as well as offering employment support services.

The Veteran’s Day breakfast was a way of thanking some of the many Indiana Veteran Business Enterprise owners as well as supporting their sacrifice, their entrepreneurial spirit and their efforts to continue helping society improve by providing jobs for other Hoosiers.

At the end of the breakfast each veteran was presented the Challenge Coin as a symbol of appreciation for the courage they showed while in the military and that which they continue to show as veteran business owners.  These veteran men and women are to be commended for their continued efforts and success.  Operation: Job Ready Veterans is to be saluted for making a difference in the lives of our veterans.  For additional information on Operation: Job Ready Veterans please visit:
