Some people would say a netlogx quarterly team meeting, team training session, group activity and a corporate holiday party all in the same day, would be Way Too Much Interaction with company team members, but in my opinion, it was a great day full of consultant camaraderie, idea sharing and holiday spirit.

It was Way Too Much holiday spirit…We enjoyed the netlogx band singing and playing our favorite holiday tunes and anxiously awaited who would win the Christmas card contest.  Who knew netlogx had such musically talented and creative consultants!

It was Way Too Much camaraderie…We met face-to-face with old and new colleagues (and those we only see virtually through the year), talked about our projects, discussed lessons learned and most importantly our successes!  We chatted about what we were doing right, and how we’ve grown personally and professionally over the year.

We also celebrated our first annual “Chabotwsie” award winner, Jim Dunn, for being an exemplary employee; one who meets deadlines, rolls up his sleeves to empty the dishwasher, contributes expertise whenever it is needed, and teaches us all about Medicaid policy and practice, not to mention all of the smiles and laughter he brings out of us with his quick wit!

It was Way Too Much idea sharing…our training sessions involved understanding the differences between netlogx consultants and contractors, and how netlogx provides both services to our clients; sharing facilitation experiences and learning how facilitators need to prepare, execute and follow-up to ensure the objective of a facilitated session has been met.  We enjoyed sharing ideas about our vision for the future of netlogx during our story board meeting and seeing the completed displays posted in the office, which will provide a continual reminder of our consultant’s contributions and what we want to see come to fruition in the future for netlogx.

Having WTMI with my netlogx team members on that Friday in December was an interactive learning experience, and enjoyable holiday celebration and just plain FUN!  I think every company should have a WTMI day, Don’t you?
