Interview with Barbara Zenor, Senior Consultant

What brings you joy?

My granddaughters, my family and spending time with them.

What are you most afraid of?

I’m not sure I’m afraid of anything, I tend to tackle most things in life.

What would you like to learn?

Everything! I’ve spent most of my life learning things, I like to learn whether it is crafting, cooking or in work. It is always a good day when I’ve learned something!

 Who or what inspires you?

People! I like working with people, there is always someone to inspire you.

If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?

Every age is a wonderful age, go with it!

What is your favorite book or movie and why?

It would probably be Apollo 13 because it involves a lot of people working together to problem solve, being creative and caring.

What have you, or would you, write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?

Go traveling around 48 States. I’ve been to most of the 50 on business and would like to see the rest of the country.

What does DIVERSITY mean to you?

If you are asking about experience diversity, I think it is about bringing together people of varied experiences and backgrounds to obtain the best result for an endeavor. When people can and do share their varied experiences, an organization is able to combine the nuances of those experiences into an endeavor much improved over one born of a single person’s experiences.
