What brings you joy?
Helping other people and seeing them happy.
What are you most afraid of?
That’s a good question. I guess thinking of my family and friends having an unsustainable future. I like to keep a positive outlook.
What would you like to learn?
At work, I would like to continue being a sponge and absorbing as much knowledge as possible. I have kept the library busy with book requests this year and plan to keep it that way.
Who or what inspires you?
I’m inspired by leaders who see value in people and respect their input. netlogx has a very diverse set of people and skill sets and it is neat to see these assets used creatively. I admire Nick and Audrey for several reasons but am consistently inspired by their endurance, integrity, and enthusiasm while running netlogx and keeping us happily employed!
If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?
Academics are important but are not everything.
Go with your heart and the rest will follow.
Stop thinking about yourself.
Think more of the future less of the present.
Be kind to others.
What is your favorite book or movie and why?
I would say the book Food Revolution made quite an impact. I read it six or seven years ago and was the catalyst for me becoming a vegetarian. I highly recommend it.
My favorite movie is probably Good Will Hunting.
What have you, or would you, write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?
By helping others achieve their dreams, you will achieve yours (as per the Les Brown quote).
What does cybersecurity mean to you?
In my opinion, cybersecurity means securing data, networks, and a variety of different platforms.
