Music in Health Care

By |2022-09-05T17:22:48-04:00July 10th, 2017|

I’ve been very blessed to participate in music ministry for the past 10 years focused in the health care arena at an Indianapolis health system.  The power of music in this setting can be overwhelming at times.  We regularly play for patients at a long term acute care facility.  We ask patients if they would [...]

April was National Physical Wellness Month, and here at netlogx, many of us challenged ourselves to be healthier! Although April has come to a close, I know I will be trying to carry my goals through the rest of the year. I’ve been so inspired by reading the goals submitted by netlogx team members, that [...]

Last month I had the opportunity to spend a few days at the netlogx Corporate Office. Since I completed my week of onboarding in January, I had not been back to Indianapolis. I was excited to leave cloudy and rainy Grand Rapids for a few days to visit sunny and warm Indianapolis! The trip was [...]

By |2022-09-05T17:07:13-04:00April 27th, 2017|

I know we are told that honesty is the best policy but as National Honesty Day approaches I wonder is that really the case? I had a recent experience whereby I provided honest feedback to someone who did not receive it at all well. I spent hours painstakingly drafting and redrafting what I had to [...]

Lack of Honesty – We All Have It!

By |2022-09-05T17:08:57-04:00April 27th, 2017|

During the last session I had with my coach (yes I have my own coach as well), she asked me what my clients all had in common. And what quickly came up for me was a little frightening to say out loud. “They are afraid to communicate 100% honestly and transparently.” It rolled off of [...]

Cloudy with a Chance of Streaming

By |2022-09-05T15:07:24-04:00April 10th, 2017|

Should the Cloud make me anxious? This is a question I ask myself every day when using Netflix, Hulu, Google Mail, iCloud, Microsoft 365, and Dropbox. I still like the convenience of accessing documents and data from any device, and now I can even stream games using Xbox One Beam service. It is a new [...]

An Evening at Developer Town

Picture yourself standing in the middle of a refurbished warehouse. Got it? OK. Now, picture yourself in that same warehouse surrounded by tiny houses, complete with shingles, wood paneling, shutters--everything a house would have, all organized along a grid of streets. What I am describing is probably the most aptly named organization that I have [...]
