“Beyond the misery: getting the implementation strategy right” - Presented by Thresette Briggs and Cindy Allen Stuckey Tony Dungy, the renowned former football coach for the Indianapolis Colts once said that you don't win on excuses, you win on execution.  He couldn't be more right.  Today corporate America faces many challenges, and past history does [...]

Crazy Drivers are Better Decision Makers

By |2022-09-05T14:37:01-04:00September 22nd, 2016|

You’re finally able to pass a highway driver in the fast lane, who is driving anything but fast. “What in the world are they thinking and why are they such idiots?” This is what you are thinking as you scowl at them while shaking your head and aggressively accelerating to re-establish your superiority on the [...]

Big Data Conference 2016

By |2022-09-05T14:36:16-04:00September 8th, 2016|

I was invited to the conference, at no cost, courtesy of one of the organizers. They called it the “Tipping Point” because “we are at a point in time where nothing we can do is going to stop Big Data becoming a force in business and organizations around the world.” It was fascinating to listen [...]

Networking with a Purpose

By |2022-09-05T14:35:07-04:00August 11th, 2016|

As most business owners can attest, building a business from the ground up often comes with some growing pains. Sometimes it can be harder than expected to attract new customers. Other times, new start-ups might not have enough capital to invest as heavily in sales, marketing, and public relations as their larger, full-grown competitors. Regardless [...]

One Drop Becomes a Full Cup

By |2022-09-05T14:34:31-04:00August 4th, 2016|

When I was very young, my sister and I would play hide-and-go-seek with my father. He was so good at the game. I’m not sure where he really hid, but he always told us that he was under the carpet. And we believed him. It’s funny how it’s possible to hide in plain sight. I [...]

8:30 am Give or Take

By |2022-09-05T14:30:32-04:00July 21st, 2016|

My netlogx experience will always spark memories of my desperate attempts to predict traffic, as I sat frustrated in my car while being stuck on Fall Creek or College Avenue. While fighting back the urge to express my frustration towards the stand still mess that is rush-hour, I understood that the issue was practically irrelevant [...]

Days at netlogx

By |2022-09-05T14:29:18-04:00July 14th, 2016|

When I entered this internship I was expecting a rigid schedule in which I come in at a certain hour and leave at another certain hour. To my surprise it was not like that; the hours I work are based on how much work I have. As I am an intern for netlogx from the [...]

By |2022-09-05T14:27:59-04:00July 7th, 2016|

Interning at netlogx has been a wonderful experience! I have had the opportunity to work at netlogx for the last two summers in a row and it truly impresses me how committed netlogx is to their people and what they do. Last summer I learned so much and was able to experience many different aspects [...]

We’re on the Same Team

By |2022-09-05T14:15:34-04:00April 17th, 2016|

Many of us don’t think twice about being on a team, participating in meetings, completing our tasks and fulfilling our role as team member. We’ve become used to it. We know the drill. We show up, we may give input, we agree to things, we either comply with expectations or we don’t. It doesn’t matter [...]
