What brings you joy?
I would say my friends, family, and kids bring me joy – especially when they’re happy, and we are able to spend time together.
What would you like to learn?
I would like to learn sign language – I know some of the basics but would like to learn more ASL (American Sign Language).
Who or what inspires you?
I would say anybody, whether a mom or female, that is able to keep it going regardless of the noise around them, those people who are honest when things aren’t always going well – sharing and being transparent, supporting and helping others.
What is your proudest work moment at netlogx?
Getting the first round of the PPP loan.
If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?
Don’t try and grow up so fast, enjoy the moment!
What is your favorite book or movie and why?
The Godfather Part One or Part Two, not three! I’m really intrigued by their system of organized crime and how scenes were sometimes improvised. The movies seem very realistic to the actual Mafia, and I like seeing all the history – as well as the loyalty, dishonesty, and how they deal with it.
What would you write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?
I would like to travel to Italy.
What does Project Management mean to you?
Project Management to me means leading a team and a process from start to finish, regardless of the size of the project and ultimately making it successful.
What does wellness at netlogx mean to you?
Wellness at netlogx to me means the pathway to be able to do things that are healthy, not necessarily exercise – netlogx promotes self-care whatever that looks like. We have virtual workspaces to encourage conversations about healthy lifestyles and to share ideas.
How would you describe netlogx’ culture?
netlogx’ culture is very team-oriented; I describe it as a family. Our team members know each other, our family members, and even our pets. You spend more time with the team at times than your own family so work relationships are very important.
What is a fun fact about you? Or the most exciting thing you’ve ever done or place you’ve ever been?
I was born in California, so I’m not an Indiana-native!
