Female IT trailblazer and proven leader to help strengthen the business climate in the Indianapolis region
INDIANAPOLIS, December 12, 2018 — Audrey Taylor, CEO of information technology consulting services company netlogx, was elected today to serve a three-year term on the board of directors for the Indy Chamber. As a board member, Taylor is pleased to be able to help in shaping our regional business community and strengthening the strong foundation, so the Indianapolis region can continue to thrive. Celebrating its 20th year in business, netlogx has been a member of the Indy Chamber for the past 11 years.
The Indy Chamber serves as a voice of progress for the Indianapolis Region, uniting business and community to maintain a strong economy and quality of life. The group’s advocacy efforts, networking programs, economic development and entrepreneurship initiatives position its members, the broader business community and region for success.
“I’m honored to be joining such an outstanding group of leaders and businesses working to move Indy forward,” said Taylor. “I am personally invested in the community and believe creating inclusivity and diversity in the workplace creates better outcomes for all our community.”
Originally from the UK, Taylor’s IT background began in the insurance, human resources and finance industries. Since founding netlogx in Indianapolis in 1998, she has applied her IT know-how to untangle complex business challenges for organizations across the U.S. and beyond.
“The strength of the Indy Chamber is the collective engagement and investment of our thousands of members in making the region a better place to live, work and do business, starting with the leadership of our Board of Directors,” said Michael Huber, president and CEO of the Indy Chamber. “Audrey Taylor’s deep background in our tech sector and insight into technology as a catalyst for business and economic growth makes her a valuable addition to our leadership team, and we appreciate her willingness to serve.”
Taylor’s board term begins December 12, 2018 and expires December 31, 2021. She is also a member of the Indy Chamber Membership Council and currently chairs its Member Engagement Task Force.
