Woman-led tech pioneer among top small companies to work for in the state for the seventh time
(INDIANAPOLIS, May 7, 2021) — netlogx, a two-decade-old, women-owned Indianapolis consulting services company, has been ranked in the top ten for this year’s 2021 Best Places to Work in Indiana list. The company was honored in the Small Business category for the seventh time – sixth year consecutively. This is the 16th year for the annual program created by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce and Best Companies Group.
netlogx worked to pivot during the COVID-19 pandemic while addressing the complex needs of its employees. As the company transitioned to completely remote work in the spring of 2020, team members required tools, software and supplies that enabled them to be productive; netlogx leadership rose to the challenge and worked to support specific team member work styles. Employee feedback helped establish initiatives such as virtual development sessions with a professional coach in focus areas such as time management, stress and wellness. Furthermore, netlogx consistently performed at the forefront of pandemic response challenges by establishing new in-office guidelines and a security system to ensure those who used the office were safe and practicing social distancing measures.

Rankings for organizations were revealed on May 6, 2021 at an awards luncheon sponsored by Ivy Tech Community College. The event was held at the Indiana Convention Center with a virtual option for attendees.
To determine the Best Places to Work in Indiana, companies from across the state entered a two-part survey process. The first aspect consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. This part of the process was worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience and accounted for some 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final rankings.
