What brings you joy?
Flying brings me joy. I also enjoy flying planes and playing in a band. Being in the wilderness and catching a big fish brings me joy. Finally, seeing how my kids have grown up has been joyous.
What are you most afraid of?
I am most afraid of heights, specifically being on the edge of something, like a cliff.
What would you like to learn?
I would like to learn a new style of banjo; I currently play bluegrass.
Who or what inspires you?
My parents inspire me. Anyone who is true to themselves and others and makes me think “what would they do” inspires me.
If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?
I would tell my teenage self to take the opportunities that are given to you, be thankful for them and don’t take things for granted.
What is your favorite book or movie and why?
The Martian is my favorite movie. I like the way they went through the problem solving and seeing how things were solved.
What have you, or would you, write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?
I would write I would like to catch all the major saltwater sport fish.
What does Security Management mean to you?
Security Management to me means managing the human and technical sides of security. Security management is putting together the human side of education and the technical side of hardware and software. The human side is the biggest factor and where the security management is most needed.
What does wellness at netlogx mean to you?
Wellness at netlogx means a lot. netlogx does a great deal for our team members. From letting us know about exercise events to wellness reimbursement opportunities to keeping positivity for our mental wellbeing. Wellness at netlogx is not just occasionally, it’s weekly.
What is a fun fact about you?
I have not missed an Indy 500 race since 1989, COVID-19 aside.
What is the most exciting thing you’ve ever done or place you’ve ever been?
The most exciting thing I’ve ever done is spend three (3) weeks with my dad flying around Australia in an outback flying safari in six (6) planes. I would also say that Australia and New Zealand are the most exciting places I’ve ever been.
