Appointment of women in key leadership positions provides an opportunity to continue changing the landscape of women represented in the consulting services sector
INDIANAPOLIS, Oct. 23, 2020— netlogx, a 22-year-old, Indianapolis-based consulting services firm, today appointed Vicki Chabot as chief human resources officer and Stephanie Sponsel as chief operations officer. Chabot and Sponsel will serve as principal leaders for the firm that performs senior-level consulting to public and private sector enterprise clients and will report directly to CEO and partner, Audrey Taylor.
Nearly a decade ago, Chabot began her career with netlogx as an associate before following her passion to recruit and develop new hires and employees for netlogx. She was quickly promoted to human resources director where she has led the “Diverse by Design” culture through thoughtful recruitment, development and leadership of netlogx team members — most notably during a global pandemic that forced netlogx to implement a completely remote workforce. Chabot graduated from the University of Liverpool and has dedicated her skill set to creating the culture and improving the work-life balance netlogx team members have come to value.
“This year has been like no other and I’m looking forward to helping my team members continue to navigate this new journey through ongoing collaboration as well as letting them know how much we appreciate their hard work,” said Chabot. “I am extremely excited and humbled by this opportunity to continue to work with the leadership team, help drive initiatives forward and to make a difference to the future of netlogx.”
Sponsel, also with the consulting firm for nearly 10 years, started her career at netlogx shortly after earning her graduate degree at the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. She identified many inefficiencies early in the course of her career that have not only saved netlogx time but helped implement solutions for inefficiencies in payroll and budgeting. Taylor frequently cites Sponsel as the primary resource for digestible key metrics for sales and project managers to keep them on track. Her work leading netlogx’ compliance, Outreach and IT and ensuring her team has the necessary tools to perform at the highest level has enabled netlogx to continue making clients’ business the best it can be.
“Our team is truly special, and I am grateful for the opportunity to continue forging my career path with netlogx,” said Sponsel. “On a national scale, women still fall short of equal representation in the C-suite. It is notable that our founders purposely created a diverse culture that provided me opportunities to excel and make a lasting impact in our state’s female leadership roster.”
“These two women exemplify the ‘Diverse by Design’ culture we work so hard to cultivate at netlogx,” said Audrey Taylor, CEO and partner of netlogx.” As our organization grows, so should our leadership and the expansion of Vicki and Stephanie’s roles enables us to further evolve our organization and provide new opportunities for netlogx.”
