During the few months I have been interning at netlogx, I have had the opportunity to experience many different sides of the company. Specifically, four different worlds in which the company operates including training opportunities, internal development projects, networking opportunities, and client work.
The first world I have been able to explore at netlogx is the world of training opportunities. The number of training opportunities I have been given during my short two and a half months at netlogx is quite impressive. One example of a training I have been able to take part in was a Mentor/Mentee training, where I learned how best to set up and utilize mentoring relationships so that both the mentor and mentee can learn from the valuable relationship. The amount of trainings netlogx offers for its employees shows how much they value improvement and growth.
The second world I have observed and been able to contribute to is the world of internal development. I have had a few opportunities to complete research for netlogx that will help the company move forward and help develop connections to other companies and networking opportunities.
A third world in which netlogx has opened up to me is the plethora of networking opportunities. I had the pleasure of attending a National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) luncheon which allowed me to meet other organization owners in which netlogx could potentially have as clients or partner with in the future.
The last world that I have gotten exposure to is the vast world of client work. As a consulting company, this is what netlogx is all about. While interning at netlogx, I have learned and observed firsthand how to work for and with clients in the most professional and respectful way possible. The way netlogx handles their business and clients is inspiring. They strive for excellence and do not settle for less.
I could not have asked for a more well-rounded experience as an intern.
