Interview with Elizabeth Szentes, Executive Assistant

What brings you joy?

Spending time with family and friends and laughter – doing something that makes me laugh.

What are you most afraid of?

Dying.

What would you like to learn?

Sign language.

Who or what inspires you?

Individuals who are always striving to do better and lifting others up in the process. Also people who are trying to conserve the resources that we have – recycling, reusing things – it helps me to re-evaluate what I am doing in my life. Random acts of kindness inspire me to be a better person.

If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?

Be more adventurous and try different things, for example when I was in college I wish I’d have studied abroad. Now I’ve gotten older, I wish I’d been more open to stepping outside of the box rather than doing things I thought I was supposed to do.

What is your favorite book or movie and why?

Diana, Her True Story in Her Own Words – because I loved all of the good will that she shared and her charity work. As a mother, I respect that she tried to maintain a normal relationship with her sons and how she encouraged them to be involved in non-profit work.

What have you or would you write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?

To travel more abroad and especially in Europe.

What does Cloud Computing mean to you?

I am an i-Phone user which to me means a way that my pictures and apps can be stored in the cloud which makes it very easy to transfer my data. It is very convenient, however, with that I also think about what type of security I need to protect my data in the cloud.
