In a world where there is so much negative going on. It is easy to feel that you have nothing to be thankful for. It can even be hard to stop and think about being grateful. However, the more you focus on the positive that’s going on in your life helps you acknowledge what you have and that is a reason to be grateful.

Every day I take time out to write down three things I am thankful for. I have developed an attitude of gratitude by making a conscious decision to express appreciation on a regular basis for big and small things going on in my life.

I take time out to be grateful, it can be what I accomplished for the day, my family, health, career, the lessons I have learned, what I appreciate about my current season in life, food in my cupboards, running water in my homes, my overall sense of well-being just to name a few.

For me I believe in counting my blessings no matter how big or small they are. It is easy to celebrate the big blessing but what about the small things that goes on in your life.

The more I look for reasons to be grateful the more I realized that I am blessed no matter what I am facing.
