netlogx’s Stephanie Sponsel Selected as 2018 Tech25 Award Winner

The annual award presented by TechPoint Indiana spotlights rising stars for their contributions to the local tech sector and dedication to community

INDIANAPOLIS, July 24, 2018 netlogx, a woman-led local information technology and risk assessment consulting firm, announces Stephanie Sponsel, operations director, has been named as a 2018 TechPoint Tech25 award winner. This annual award is given to members of the Indiana technology community who have strong professional contributions, community involvement and positive character. Hand-selected by an independent judging panel, Sponsel will be featured along with past Tech25 classes on TechPoint.org and celebrated during the Tech25 Awards luncheon at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway on August 16, 2018 during the second annual Indy Women in Tech LPGA Championship.

“We are incredibly proud that Stephanie has been awarded this coveted distinction in the local tech community,” said Audrey Taylor, CEO and founder of netlogx. “Stephanie is an integral part of the netlogx family, and her dedication to our company and her community as a whole made her a natural choice for nomination this year.”

In her role at netlogx, Sponsel has been central to creating and implementing software that manages billable time and names measurable goals to alleviate employee pain points. Her approachable personality gives colleagues a place to ask any question. When she isn’t at netlogx, Sponsel is working concessions during wrestling matches at her alma mater, Scecina Memorial High School, or finalizing annual budgets for Our Lady of Lourdes. For the past three years, the Sponsel’s have opened their hearts and served as a foster family and are currently in the midst of adopting a third child.

Tech 25 winners represent a wide range of roles within tech companies, such as software developers, financial analysts, marketing directors and product managers. Executives could only nominate one team member for the Tech 25 Class of 2018. Winners were selected from three main role categories, reinforcing the core roles that building product and building revenue play. In addition to being star performers at their companies, winners are committed team players who build others up through mentoring, volunteering and positive example and are committed to contributing to the broader tech community.
