netlogx, a 20-year-old, Indianapolis-based consulting services firm, has announced that it will return as a sponsor of race car driver Pippa Mann for the 103rd Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 26, 2019.

“I’m excited to have netlogx, a company founded and led by a fellow British female entrepreneur to solve complex business challenges, return to our racing program this year,” said Mann.

Mann, a fan favorite, will drive the No. 39 Driven2SaveLives Chevy entry for Clauson-Marshall Racing as she attempts to qualify for her seventh Indianapolis 500. With this sponsorship, the netlogx logo will be featured on Mann’s car, on Mann’s driver suit, and on the wall of the Indiana Donor Network / Clauson-Marshall Racing suite for the entire month of May. The sponsorship will also allow netlogx the opportunity to attend many of the Indy 500 events and appearances with Mann.

“The netlogx team is extremely excited and proud to once again be sponsoring Pippa and we can’t wait to cheer her on during the month of May,” said Audrey Taylor, CEO and partner of netlogx. “It takes tenacity and perseverance to change the landscape of women represented in STEM and the example Pippa continues to set by thriving in a male-dominated profession remains an inspiration to us all.”

In addition to this sponsorship, netlogx is dedicated to contributing back to the local community by focusing their efforts to support and promote women in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math). To achieve their goal, they work to connect women working in STEM with each other and the Indianapolis community as well as engage and provide a support system for women who aspire to STEM careers.

About Pippa Mann

Pippa grew up racing karts, then moved into open wheel racing in Europe, where she became the first female driver to score points in World Series by Renault, and the first female driver to start a race from pole position in that series. In 2009, she moved to the U.S.A to race in Indy Lights, the feeder series to IndyCar.

In 2010 in Indy Lights, Pippa had a record year where she became the first female driver to win a pole position at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in any category, and only one of two female drivers to be a race winner in Indy Lights. Pippa finished 5th in the Championship overall and was voted “Most Popular Driver” in the category by race fans.

Pippa drove an IndyCar for the first time in March of 2011, and then qualified for her first Indianapolis 500 in May of that year. She was the eighth woman in history, and the first British female to start the 500-mile race. Over the following seasons she has started the race five more times (2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017). She is currently the fastest female driver in history at Indianapolis Motor Speedway as the first female driver ever over 230mph with a lap of 230.1mph, set on Fast Friday of 2017.

In 2017 and 2018, Pippa also competed in the North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series, with several one-off race weekend appearances over the two seasons. In 2018 this translated into four Pro-Am podium finishes from four starts.

In the fall of 2018 Pippa also competed in the 25 hours of Thunderhill for the first time as part of an all-female driving team with Shift Up Now, and traveled to Saudi Arabia to take part in the FIA Formula E test at the Ad Diriyah event with Geox Dragon Racing.

Outside of the cockpit, Pippa works as a performance driving instructor and coach for various brands, is available as a keynote speaker for conferences and events. She has a scholarship for young, up-and-coming female racers named after her at the Lucas Oil School of Racing, and is passionate about both her partnerships in the non-profit sector, and her goal of striving to inspire young girls to believe in themselves and follow their dreams.
