Diane Walton honored during the 13th Annual IMPACT Awards Luncheon
(INDIANAPOLIS, Mar. 8, 2019)— netlogx, a highly-awarded, 20-year-old consulting services firm, announced today that Diane Walton has been named Intern Supervisor of the Year for her work leading a superior internship program for the organization. Walton received her award on last week during the IMPACT Awards Luncheon, a program managed by the Indiana Chamber of Commerce.
A statewide event recognizing internship excellence, the Indiana INTERNnet IMPACT Awards luncheon celebrates accomplishments among interns, employers and career development professionals. Winners are selected by a group of impartial judges from nominations submitted by the public.
“Diane is an incredible asset to netlogx and the internship program,” said Audrey Taylor, CEO and partner of netlogx. “The initiatives she has created and her exceptional leadership help make our internship program impactful and effective for our state’s future leaders.”
Walton serves as Compliance and Bid Manager at netlogx and has been a pivotal resource as the company continues to grow and refine its internship program. Many of the interns she supervised highlight Walton’s ability to make them feel equal to other colleagues at the organization by empowering them to make their voices heard. Every intern interviewed for Walton’s nomination cited how important they felt to the netlogx organization and the sense of belonging they felt from not only Walton but every team member they met. As a testament to the intern program’s success, netlogx intern Abbey Szentes was nominated for the Intern of the Year award during the luncheon on Feb. 26.
“What I enjoy most about managing the Intern Development Program is the energy and fresh perspectives the interns bring,” said Walton. “It’s a mutual learning experience.”
