Women-led management consulting firm ranked the top small company to work for in the state

(INDIANAPOLIS, May 18, 2023) — netlogx, an Indianapolis-based management consulting services firm, was named the No. 1 Best Place to Work in Indiana for the small employment category (between 15 and 74 U.S. employees) on May 10, 2023. The Indiana Chamber of Commerce honored 125 employers from throughout the state at the 2023 Best Places to Work in Indiana Awards Dinner, presented by trueU. Rankings for organizations were revealed in four categories at the event held in Indianapolis at the Indiana Convention Center.

Other companies coming in at No. 1 included:

  • TrueScripts, a prescription benefit management service in Washington – medium category (between 75 and 249 U.S. employees)
  • Centric Consulting, a global company with a growing Indiana presence – large category (between 250 and 999 U.S. employees)
  • Edward Jones, a financial investment firm with statewide locations – major category (1,000 or more U.S. employees)

netlogx and Centric Consulting are first-timers to the top spot, while TrueScripts repeats its win from 2022 and Edward Jones returns to the peak for the sixth time.

“The theme of this year’s program was ‘A Kind of Magic,’ which captures the dynamic culture and experiences offered by all of these winning organizations,” says Indiana Chamber President and CEO Kevin Brinegar. “Whether it’s workplace benefits, volunteerism, employee recognition programs or mental wellness initiatives, these employers consistently ‘wow’ their teams – and vice versa.”

Best Places in Indiana companies hail from more than 30 cities and towns, with multiple designees coming from Carmel, Evansville, Fishers, Fort Wayne, Indianapolis, Marion, Plainfield, Warsaw and Washington. In addition, several businesses have multiple Indiana locations.

This year’s winners include companies with Hoosier employee counts (at the time of application) ranging from 15 to 1,300. Out-of-state parent companies were eligible to participate if at least 15 full-time employees are in Indiana.

Honorees and rankings were determined through employer reports and a comprehensive, anonymous employee survey. The Workforce Research Group handled the selection process.
