What brings you joy?

Thinking about how blessed I am to have gone through the experiences I have in my life. Thinking about the trips I have gone on, people I have met, and experiences I have been through that have made me the person I am today brings me joy. I would also say giving back to the people who have impacted me the most.

What would you like to learn?

I want to learn how to be successful and content in my twenties. Just being happy with where I am in life, but also still striving toward the goals I want to accomplish. Reminding myself that I am at a good place and that I am happy with where I am at and who I am.

Who or what inspires you?

Acts of selflessness and people who are selfless in general inspire me. People who really embody that selflessness within themselves and in their everyday actions is something I think is really admirable.

What is your proudest work moment at netlogx?

Some of my proudest work moments at netlogx have been when I really began to gain the trust of some of my senior teammates. I came into a team that had already been established for about a year and I figured it would take them a while to really trust a new person, especially a recent graduate, but recently they have been coming to me with last-minute requests for meeting coverages and it really makes me happy. It allows me to show them that I am capable and able to support them and that makes me very proud as a netlogx team member.

If you could talk to your teenage self, what would you say?

To relax and that everything is going to work out the way it is supposed to. In high school, I was an overachiever, and I had the idea that you have to do the most or you have to be the best.  At the end of the day, it did not make me happy, and it led to some burnout. So, I would tell her it is going to be okay, and you do not have to push yourself or compare yourself to everyone because it will all work out at your own pace.

What is your favorite book or movie and why?

I like to watch movies that will bring me joy so I would say my favorite movie is Mama Mia. It has the happiest and most fun atmosphere with the songs and costumes. Everything about it is just so vibrant.

What would you write on the netlogx Before I Die wall?

I want to visit the Philippines and see where my grandparents grew up. They talk so highly of it and there is just so much of my family history there.

What does project and program management mean to you?

Making something the best version it can be. Being the guiding hand for people who are already extremely knowledgeable in their area and finding a way to make their knowledge more accessible and/or easier for other people to understand.

What does wellness at netlogx mean to you?

Finding outside sources from work to home life that give you a more well-rounded and robust life. I use my wellness funds to help pay for my gym membership because it is definitely something that helps me escape after a long work day.

How would you describe netlogx’ culture?

The culture is very supportive. I feel very cared for because I know they genuinely care about me and my well-being as an individual.

What is a fun fact about you? Or the most exciting thing you’ve ever done or place you’ve ever been?

The coolest thing I have ever done was this program through Indiana University when I was in high school called IU Honors Program in Foreign Languages. We went to Spain for six (6) weeks, and we only spoke Spanish. It was very daunting because it was a complete immersion program. To this day I think it was the best summer of my life because I did not have my phone, so I was just living in the moment and pushing my boundaries in a very healthy way.
