Anybody who knows her will attest that basketball is not Audrey Taylor’s favorite spectator sport. In fact she has allegedly been known to say that nothing ever happens until the fourth quarter and that at times it could almost be a conspiracy the way the scoring unfolds to establish a fourth quarter push. That said, Audrey was extremely keen to attend a WNBA final play-off game to support the Indiana Women’s Professional team in their first National Championship Playoff series. Indiana Fever have fought hard over the past thirteen years to put themselves in the position to win the 2012 WNBA Championship and their continued perseverance and focus is something Audrey is all too aware of as a visionary and strategist of a highly successful business.

Attending game three of the five game series, Indiana were at home but tied one game each with the Minnesota Lynx so the game was exciting, with a fabulous atmosphere in the arena.  We were fortunate to watch the Indiana team beat the Minnesota Lynx setting themselves up to win the championship in Game Four at home two nights later – which was a closely fought, incredibly exciting game. Throughout the finals the Fever demonstrated motivation, team work, talent, flexibility and plenty of hard work to secure their well-deserved victory. These same attributes are reflected on a daily basis within our netlogx family.

Last week, undeterred by the pouring rain, three other netlogx ladies and I joined the rest of the Fever fans (or Fever Believers!) to celebrate the victory parade which was moved inside the pavilion of Bankers Life Fieldhouse due to the inclement weather. There was an amazing atmosphere and I was most stuck by the incredibly diverse demographic of fans all coming together to show their support for the champions. One very tall lady even came to  my rescue and offered to take a photo for me from her high vantage point which I thought was reflective of the attitude of the fans overall.

We already know that the missing ‘i’ in netlogx stands for integrity but there are many more characteristics which make netlogx a very special team to work with:

The Fever never stopped trying or believing in themselves and now they’ve realized their dream of being the best of the best! – A “Fever Believer”.
